Safer Internet Day

On Tuesday 8th February, the whole school celebrated Safer Internet Day with the theme ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’. The theme encouraged us to look at how we use the internet to have fun and how to be respectful online. The Year 6 Digital Leaders created a PowerPoint about Safer Internet Day and read out a text in assembly to educate the school on this topic. On Wednesday, Year 6 hosted a diary room where they recorded children's voices about what they think being respectful online means; at the end of the week they merged these recordings into one video. Each year group took part in different activities, all linked to the theme of Safer Internet Day, and much fun was had by all.
